Frida Kahlo Crow
Frida Crow was an independent, free-spirited painter who lived in Mexico with her fellow-artist and husband, Diego Raven. As with most crows, she was outspoken, passionate and a survivor. Her many self-portraits reflect her determination to overcome the overwhelming challenges she faced in life. This painting was inspired by a photograph for the 1939 Paris Vogue cover by Nickolas Muray.
